Northwest Oaks Coaches InformationNOYSC Annual Coach’s Meeting July 14th, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Schaefer School Multipurpose room.
Each year NOYSC needs coaches, assistant coaches, and team parents to make our soccer season work. These positions are filled by parent volunteers who find the challenge of organizing a group of kids into a team can be a deeply rewarding experience. Many of these volunteers are returning from previous years, but many are also brand new…brand new to NOYSC, brand new to coaching, and even brand new to soccer. NOYSC and the other SRYSL clubs conduct coaching courses each spring and summer at various levels, from beginning (Pre-F) to fairly advanced (E/D). These classes are open to anyone to attend for a very reasonable charge, on a first come, first served basis. Additional coaching aids are available through NOYSC (books, videos) and through the many soccer coaching websites online.
