Directors Meeting February
24,2003 Meeting was called to order at 6:45 PM. Present Officers:

Walling, Skip Gray, Nina Lippincott Members: Brigitte Rocca, Tony Pellegrini, Mike Hernandez, Mia Barlett, Jim Barlett, Nicki McKeever, Paul Lomeli, and Mike Otten, Jackie Olson, Michael Ahern, Rich Gunderson, Richard Horgan, Kathy Herron. Absent:
Richard Vives Guest: No guests Previous Minutes: BOARD REPORTS-
There are no board reports. Updates- 1- Update
from Angie –
- she received the club’s computer, six boxes of registration forms and birth certificates,
they are in storage.
-1085 players in 2002. Very few registrations are missing birth certificates. Letters will be
sent to those that are missing birth certificates.
-Schools for registration this year – Piner Elementary and San Miguel Elementary.
Possible dates – 4/12, 4/16, 4/30 and late registration on 5/10.
-Class III try-outs – 5/1. 2 - Update

-New budget report – 1100 members on Northwest Oaks budget.
-Registration fees up by $5.00. $1.00 per player for scholarships. - Angie
motioned to pass the following decision on the Alternate District Playing Season, Tony 2nd, passed unanimously -
Northwest Oaks does not support this proposal as is, it has insufficient information. New Business- 1- Approve the 2003 budget – Angie motioned to approve the budget, Richard G. 2nd, passed unanimously. 2- Need to move the goal posts from the schools that we are responsible for. It was decided to move them on 3/2 at 10:00 am. 3- Former registrar submitted a bill for $276.90 for phone expenses and wants reimbursement from the club. Paul motioned to pay the bill after registration, Tony 2nd, Angie opposed, Skip abstained. 4- Paul motioned to pass a proposal that any money spent outside the budget, that Northwest Oaks Youth Soccer Club is to reimburse, must be approved by the board prior to spending the money. Tony 2nd the motion, it passed unanimously. 5- Tony needs design ideas for T-shirts and pins ASAP. Possibly thinking of not putting a year on the T-shirts, it would be cheaper.
